Hello! My name is Clare and I am the creator of The Mall webcomic.

My best friend, Megan, and I started writing this story when we were in high school. The main protagonists, Liza and Minnie, are snapshots of both of us, shared and shaped by our friendship and love for storytelling.

We had hoped to one day publish this story as a children’s animated TV series. While we are still waiting for a brand deal to drop down from the sky, we decided to instead transform our story into a webcomic. This way, we can tell the story we want while seeing our girls debut on the (not-so) big screen. 🙂
